Human Edge Goals Timeline Results
These were far too late coming, but the goals of characters from the prior game played out as follows - with the characters traveling to Solaris having plenty of time aboard the Calico as they traveled back toward the center of the Inner Sphere for the sales mission on Solaris 7, and those remaining on Illium free to pursue their goals as they see fit.
Just Technician James Hall: Collaborates on the creation of a proto Omni-Mech technology, allowing for a mech that can undergo rapid field refits to utilize different preset configurations, allowing a single chassis to be modified by any given unit for a variety of battlefield roles.
Andrea Des Troyes: Spends time on self improvement, furthering her understanding of the art of mech warfare, splitting time between sims, tactical drills, and hex based squad combat simulations against Alexei, who is thrilled to find a willing opponent for his 'little toy robot game'.
Snorri Tycho: Maintains communication with Leonora Stone and actively participates in negotiations establishing the relationship of the Fortunate Ones and the budding periphery nation. Takes a personal angle getting to know dignitaries and offering and exchanging favors, personal and professional, to coerce and strongarm smaller pirate bands and planetary militias into joining the Norther Federal Polity. Also shares *personal* communications with the former Pirate Queen as well.
Maja Eklund: Focuses on her training and work, acting the model squad leader and angling for promotion, which comes as new trainee lances are formed and the Illium veterans are spread out to share their experience with fresh mechwarriors and local trainees. Achieves a promotion to Master Sergeant.
Dorgan Bruun: Woos Colette Rupelle (and she woos him) leading quickly to betrothal. While the pair are cagey about their exact wedding and parenting plans, it seems likely to all the company that the lovebirds may make the Fortunate Ones a multi-generational unit, which Major Creed seems oddly proud of, and also worried about, as if this somehow makes him a grandfather.
Felicity: Felicity took her beloved mech to the workshops immediately after the recent battles, preferring to skip 'repairs' and instead begin customizing her new steed. Her aggressive requests for customization were only reigned in once Major Creed assigned a team of astecs to work on her suggested changes with input from technician Theodore Beker, rather than his undivided attention, allowing him to continue his other work. Before long, however, she had managed to make a one of a kind mech of her 'Huntress', and seemed positively giddy at the prospect of putting it through its paces.
Gillian Chow: Gillian took things easy after the last mission wrapped up, lending her aid to the pirate queen Leonora Stone, as well as the Fortunate Ones as they set up shop on Illium. While her efforts were not immediately impactful, they did let her set up connections in both organizations to ensure wherever she goes next, she'll be paid well.
Theodore Beker: Once freed from work on 'Huntress', at least in part, Theodore collaborated with technician James Hall to standardize the ONI blueprints and begin designing refit packages, even considering if there might be some way to incorporate jump jets in a rapid reconfiguration package - though so far that hasn't extended beyond the conceptual stage.
Dr. Reinhardt: After the danger of invasion was past, Dr. Reinhardt immediately set to work experimenting with some of the lostec they had discovered, testing out the De-Rad drone system and getting it operational to begin the tedious process of reclaiming irradiated land on Tartaros for farming and habitation. He has already begun studying the internal mechanisms of the devices, and while their systems are shockingly simple to operate, they are quite complex internally, though his first paper on their design has already drawn considerable interest from the Federated Commonwealth's premier computing institute.
Colette Rupelle: The second half of the happy couple, Colette's first priority has been planning the details of her future marriage and life with Dorgan Bruun. That said, she has also found time to begin experimenting with micro myomer cloth as a possible fabric for developing protective or assistive garments, a line of experimentation which has already drawn interest from several fashion designers who follow her posts on the Comstar video circulars.
Aloysius Jones: Following the destruction of the Human Edge Observatory, Aloysius has focused his efforts on combing through all of the data they managed to extract prior to its destruction, confirming many of their prior findings, but also beginning to consider several possible leads into the identities of the mysterious assailants, as well as the unknown individuals who were contacted by the array before its destruction. While none of his findings are concrete yet, he does find himself with a handful of interesting leads to follow when he is next in civilized space.
